The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced that the Afghanistan-Sri Lanka cricket series, which was scheduled to begin in the United Arab Emirates on March 13, has been postponed until the last quarter of 2026.
The series was scheduled to feature three one-day internationals and three T20 matches. Accordingly, three Twenty20 International matches were scheduled to be held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on March 13, 15 and 17, and three ODIs were scheduled to be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 20, 22 and 25. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has also reportedly agreed to postpone the matches.
