Sanitary napkins will be distributed to the students at the school itself.

The Ministry of Education has issued a notification regarding the program to provide sanitary napkins to school students.

The notification states that the program to provide sanitary napkins to the students this year will be implemented only through 4 trading institutions registered with the Sri Lanka Standards Institution and certified with SLS – 1732/2022.

Accordingly, since the relevant institutions will come to the schools themselves and provide sanitary napkin packets to the students, the notification issued by the Ministry of Education states that sanitary napkins cannot be purchased from any institution other than those institutions.
