Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Thushara has apologized to the Sri Lanka Cricket for taking legal action against the non-issuance of a no-objection certificate to participate in the 2026 Indian Premier League.
He made this statement in a letter to the institution.
He also stated in the letter that he is willing to withdraw the petition filed against the Sri Lanka Cricket.
The petition in question was called up before the court yesterday and the Sri Lanka Cricket informed that it would file objections to the complaint. The Colombo District Court then ordered the complaint to be called up on April 23 for the respondents to file objections.
