Former President Maithripala Sirisena says that he is ready to join the government only if the presidentcy is given to him.
He emphasized that he does not expect anything authrtthan Presidentcy and that neither he nor his party has any desire to get the position of Prime Minister or Minister of the government.
He said that divisions in political parties are normal and they have become a common issue for all parties today. The former president said this while addressing the media after a discussion held at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party headquarters.
