The organization's General Manager Madhava Jayasinghe stated at a media briefing held at the Kandy City Center yesterday (04) that the Avurudu Carnival will provide business opportunities to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and consumers will have the opportunity to purchase goods and services at low prices.

The Avurudu Festival will be held from April 09 to 11 and will consist of an open marathon, traditional tambourine performances, musical performances, fireworks displays, a candy parade and a trade fair, he said.

Jayasinghe said that one of the objectives of this is to provide market opportunities for emerging small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the business sector, and that everything from ready-made garments, sweets, vegetables, fruits, flowers, etc. can be easily purchased here.

The Kandy City Center General Manager Madhava Jayasinghe further stated that the inauguration of this event will be held on April 9th ​​at 09.30 am.
