Devidu Lochana of Padukka Siri Piyarathana Central College reached the 1000-run mark in the first round of the Under-19 Inter-School Cricket Tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with the support of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Left-handed batsman Devidu Lochana passes 1000 runs mark with 2 centuries and 7 half-centuries. Lochana, who is also the vice-captain of the team, has also managed to maintain an average of 61.88 this season.
